SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAMS 2012

We are very excited about our youth programs that we are offering this summer for your kids ages 3-17!!!  We have 3 different programs going on so please read the descriptions below to determine where the best fit would be for your child.

FIT-KIDS (ages 3-11)

This session is a great way for kids to be active and have a blast at the same time!  Healthy living requires that our kids push, pull, run, throw, climb, lift, and jump effectively and safely regardless of whether or not they play sports.  We work with kids of all levels and body types.  Nutrition tips will also be discussed at the end of each session.  This will be a positive and motivating environment designed to promote physical activity, teamwork, build self-esteem, and make fitness fun.  Kids should come dressed in comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.  Advanced registration is required.  Sessions will be held Tuesdays thru Fridays at 9:30-10:30am starting June 19th.  For a registration form click here JuneFITKIDS or stop in at the front desk.  

RAW TEEN “Making fitness your sport” (ages 11-14)

This is 5 weeks of fitness and fun providing an opportunity for your junior high student to experience the dynamic, constantly varied, age appropriate and effective training methods that we offer at RAW.  They will be exposed to bodyweight, compound, functional exercises, plyo-metrics and different modalities that will improve their overall fitness.  This program will begin June 18th – July 25th and meet every Monday and Wednesday from 11:00-12:00pm.  Cost for all 10 sessions is $150. Dates include June 18, 20, 25, 27, July 2, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25 (make-up session).  No session July 4th.  Advanced registraion is required and enrollment is limited.  For a registration form click here JuneRAWTEEN or stop at the front desk.

HIGH SCHOOL STRENGTH & CONDITIONING PROGRAM (ages 15-17)

This program has been designed for the competitive High School athlete to specifically utilize the training methods and principals of RAW Training.  Goals of this program are to increase core body strength, increase cardiovascular endurance/stamina, improve functional movements as it transfers to sport, improve balance, agility, speed, coordination, flexibility, decrease chance of injury, and imporve overall athletic performance.  This will be done using a wide variety of compound functional bodyweight movements, modalities, and various strength training lifts and multi-plane movement patterns.  Advanced registration required and limited enrollment.  Cost is $200 for 10 sessions beginning June 19th.  Sessions are 75min long and run from 11:00am-12:15pm Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Session dates include June 19, 21, 26, 28, July 3, 5, 17, 19, 24, 26.  (no sessions on July 10 & 12).  For a registration form click here HIGHSCHOOL.
